Tequila and Burger King

Dear Mom and Dad,

Mike and I went out for a few drinks last night. It was fun sitting at a local bar on the beach next to our hostel. I swear we could people watch all day/night.

Me trying to be artsy after a few drinks. "Take a picture of me next to this graffiti." We laughed so hard the next day at this picture.

So the next day, all Mike was craving was something greasy. I suggested BK and he quickly accepted. He couldn't believe that I knew exactly where one was. I believe his direct quote was "you can't figure out how to get back to the hostel, ocean, bus stop, and anywhere else we go, but you can lead us directly to a Burger King without any problem?!" Yes, buddy. I can. I have an internal compass for that.

After fueling our little fat rolls, it was time to sight see. We first went to the Sagrada Familia, which is the tallest church in the world. We took a couple photos from different building angles.

We had to use the public transportation to get there. Nobody was stealing from our day pack while I was on watch.

Our next stop was to go to the Maremagnum Mall, which is located on the coast of Barcelona in a boating port. It's a huge mall, and I want to get a charm for my bracelet in every country as my souvenir. We loved sitting outside and watching the people and boats.

For the record, there isn't sugar in Mountain Dew here. Michael isn't impressed and I'm pretty sure is mimicking signs of withdrawls. He literally was so crabby and "disappointed that it didn't taste the same. I'm like "it says 'sin azucar.' That means no sugar." If looks could kill, the people of mountain dew would have a death threat. He's sticking to coca-cola for now.

Dinner and exchanging money are our plans for the rest of the night. Tomorrow is a beach day, and I hope I'm an aunt by then as Mallory is being induced. I'm so EXCITED!!

Love always,

Los gringos
